Position Description:
- Seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Scientist with a strong background in infrared missile warning theory and practice, including system performance analysis.

- The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative team of scientists and engineers, inventing and innovating novel solutions to the most challenging problems facing naval science and technology.
Desired Skills:
- Real-Time and Near-Real Time coding in C, C+, C++, and Matlab to implement missile warning and tracking algorithms, data collection, and data analysis Experience using automated data collection systems, particularly systems controlled via Matlab and/or for laser beam pointing and profiling.
- Office Suite competence to create presentations, white papers, and reports to document and convey procedures, methods, and results.
