Journeyman Project Analyst

Education Required: BS or BA degree Engineering (see definitions), Computer Science or Information Systems, Business, Mathematics, or Management related discipline. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Associate’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems, Business, Mathematics, or Management related discipline plus four (4) years of additional work experience that meets the duties described in the Experience Requirements below may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
Experience Required:  At least three (3) years of experience independently performing functional duties similar to at least two duties found in the Description of the Journeyman Project Analyst.
Position Description: 
  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules.
  • Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.
  • Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.
  • Tracks program/project status and schedules.
  • Applies Government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.
  • Embedded in Government Team responsible for testing and deploying post acceptance software solutions.
  • Provides Requirements Managements support to include; contacting and collaborating with subject matter experts, and ALE/AvPLM team to ensure active engagement in capturing requirements for identified project areas.
  • Responsible for documenting requirements and related processes, and assisting in translation to user stories in JIRA, and to Enterprise Architecture functional requirements mapping.
  • Engage in stakeholders/users in sprint reviews and demos and ensure continued feedback throughout effort.
  • Provides Requirements Validation support to include; ensuring acceptance criteria identified have been met, and are consistent with user expectations.
  • Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.
  • Integrated Digital Resource Network Product Lifecycle Management (IDRN PLM) Requirements Validation
  • Document and implement requirements as defined by Product Manager in accordance with stakeholder priorities.
  • Coordinate with technical teams and enterprise support teams to ensure implementation is executed.
  • Provide testing support as required to ensure product meets requirements and user expectations.
  • Work with customers and technical team to answer questions and clarify requirements.
