Clearance Required:

Functional Description: Independently applies scientific/engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test and/or evaluate Weapon Fragmentation Characteristics. Reviews and prepares technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Assignments may involve complex test and evaluation of hardware and/or software related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapon systems, associated support systems, or management information systems. Develops technical procedures and controls, and takes the lead in problem resolution. Interfaces with system or program contractors, vendors and Government representatives regarding the technical aspects of programs/projects.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.

Experience: At least ten (10) years of hands-on experience in Weapon Fragmentation Characteristics.
