Functional Description: Independently applies advanced technical knowledge to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, operate, test and/or evaluate Aircraft avionics/instrumentation data systems. Reviews and prepares technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Assignments may involve complex test and evaluation of hardware and/or software related to engineering or functional requirements of aircraft weapon systems, associated avionics bus systems, or management information systems. Develops technical procedures and controls, and takes the lead in problem resolution. Interfaces with system or program contractors, vendors and Government representatives regarding the technical aspects of programs/projects.
Education: High School diploma or GED; Technical training in Aircraft Instrumentation and Data Measuring Systems.
Experience: At least ten (10) years of hands-on experience in one of the following areas: Business Operations, Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training. Recognized expert who has demonstrated leadership in Aircraft Instrumentation and Data Measuring Systems.
