Applies scientific, mathematic, and statistical methodologies to the study and analysis of technological problems in relation to engineering and scientific development of processes, systems, and equipment.
Uses mathematical and computerized modeling and other analytical techniques, to design procedures and execute these procedures for: experiments, tests, and evaluations on weapons systems or equipment.
Education: Position requires a MS degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Engineering.
ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: A technical or scientist Bachelor’s degree plus four (4) years of additional work experience related to the applicable labor category may be substituted for a Master’s degree.
Experience: A Senior level person has at least ten (10) years of experience performing work described in the labor category functional description. Senior level person typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently. A Senior level person may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
