ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION FOR SENIOR LEVEL: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college plus 2 years additional work experience in a related field may be substituted for a Master's degree.
ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION FOR JOURNEYMAN LEVEL: Associate’s Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the position description may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree. Or, four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the position description may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience:
Senior Level - over 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description. Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting NAVAIR and/or the Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE).
Journeyman Level – 3 to 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description. Desired experience of 5 years supporting NAVAIR and/or the NAE.
Position Description:
Specific Duties: Collects, organizes, and interprets data relating to Contracted Air Services (CAS) Fuel Cards and charges. Responsible for data management, documentation, reporting, analysis, and accounting of all fuel use. Serves as a Fleet liaison between military commands, contracted service providers, and CAS. Responsible to conduct user training for all crew members and supporting commands. Receives, analyzes, prepares, and reports all Fleet customers’ data calls. Must have accounting experience / familiarity and be proficient with MS Office suite of programs. Specifically, must be skilled in the use of MS Excel and Adobe.
General Duties: Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget, and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management. May be required to coordinate and manage meetings in the absence of Team Leads or in conjunction with CORs, Team Leads, and CAS customers. Assist in tracking, analyzing, and managing the progress of contract documents with online management tools. Assist in the analysis, approval, and routing of specific CAS products to effect CAS program activities. Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, or applies all fuel related financial data and information. Coordinates and interfaces with fleet points of contact to refine requirements.
Location:
This is an in-person position; however, remote work will be considered for the right candidate.

Salary:
The projected salary range for this position is $75,000-$130,000; however, this is not a guarantee of salary. Salary will be set based on experience and contractual requirements.
