Administrative Assistant Junior/Journey

Clearance Required: Position requires a SECRET Security Clearance

Education: 
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma is required. An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university is desired.
 

The Administrative Assistant will provide vital support to PMA-201 Operations Team.

  • Performs complex administrative functions in an extremely fast paced environment
  • Manages and processes internal and external tasking
  • Performs routine clerical and administrative functions
  • Formulating correspondence within Document Routing (DR) Planner
  • Assists with Executive Calendar Scheduling
  • POC for Emergency Responses for B2272, Rm 251 to include muster/recall list/seating charts for the Program Office
  • Updates ORG charts
  • Order and pick up name plates as needed
  • Manage the NAVAIR Reservation System for Leadership (to include Executive Functions and Functionals)
  • Place trouble tickets with B2272 Facilities Office for all necessary repairs or improvements to Rm 251 spaces
  • Mail unclassified Material
  • Assist the Security Coordinator with classified material as needed
  • Assisting with opening and closing SIPR SPACE within PMA-201 (B2272, Rm 251) as needed
  • Assist with ordering office supplies
  • Order Military name tags and flight suit patches
  • Lead Front Office Events within B2272 Rm 251 spaces
  • Manage Geedunk to include restocking and managing the expenditures report
  • Assist with DTS needs for leadership
  • Assist with processing Public Release Requests
  • Ensures program office spaces are clean and professional
  • Requires polished demeanor and sense of decorum. Position requires interfacing with prominent NAVAIR senior leadership and industry representatives
  • Perform other job-related tasks as needed

Desired experience includes:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (MS Teams, SharePoint Online, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • DTS Experience (Knowledge of Joint Travel Regulations)
  • DoD and Navy Correspondence
  • Time management and organizational skills (Flexibility in management of changing requirements

Salary:

The projected salary range for this position is $75,000- $90,000; however, this is not a guarantee of salary.  Salary will be set based on experience and contractual requirements.
