Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college. Associate’s degree and four (4) years of additional work experience or six (6) years of work experience in a related field may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
Experience Required: Greater than three (3) years of work experience in a field related to FMS, logistics, program management, or a technical or business analysis discipline related to acquisition or life cycle management.
Position Description:
- Analyze, coordinate, provide recommendations, and implement logistics requirements across all Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements throughout the life cycle of international programs—including case development, implementation, sustainment, and closure.
- Assist in the planning and execution of logistics strategies for international programs, including case development, implementation, and follow-on support.
- Perform Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) studies, analysis, and evaluations to improve readiness and optimize supportability.
- Address program requirements in international logistics, developing unique approaches for cooperative support arrangements with partner nations.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to program managers, engineers, and acquisition professionals.
- Support configuration and data management processes throughout the program lifecycle:
o Maintain configuration control of acquisition products and data.
o Track configuration changes and coordinate Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
o Manage Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and deliverables.
- Collect, organize, and interpret data related to aircraft, weapons systems, and associated products.
- Prepare logistics documentation, reports, and presentations for program reviews and stakeholder briefings.
- Track corrective actions and milestone accomplishments, evaluating progress and recommending solutions.
- Attend Program Management Reviews, Technical Coordination Meetings, and other significant program activities.
- Mentor junior logistics staff and contribute to building organizational capability.
Salary:
The projected salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000; however, this is not a guarantee of salary. Salary will be set based on experience and contractual requirements.
