Provide Cybersecurity analysis support for test and evaluation of potential cyber vulnerabilities of naval systems
Responsible for day-to-day operations in regards to the NDAA Section 1647 Mission managing cybersecurity test processes, scheduling, planning, execution, analysis and reporting in support of cybersecurity operational testing for the U.S. Navy.
Responsible for coordinating cybersecurity test requirements with internal and external key stakeholders including SYSCOMS, USFF, CPF, OPNAV and DOT&E.
Examine and analyze Cybersecurity architecture, engineering, functionality and interoperability of aircraft command, control and communication, electronic warfare, mission planning and maintenance systems.
Collaborate with system engineers to ensure Cybersecurity is implemented early in the designing, planning, execution, analysis, and reporting of Naval Aviation Test and Evaluation events - deliverables will include the preparation and maintenance of required documents, reports and briefs to support all phases of Test and Evaluation.
Conduct systems security assessments and testing utilizing vulnerability scanning tools and penetration testing tools to identify security vulnerabilities in the system architecture
Analyze security findings/weaknesses and work with system engineers to develop a plan of action and milestones to remediate the findings and revalidate applied fixes
Report vulnerability findings and implemented remediation
BS in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, or engineering. (12 years relevant engineering experience may be substituted.)
