This position will provide technical and analytical support at Air Test and Evaluation Squadron ONE (VX-1) in the definition, conduct, and analysis of structured operational and integrated Test and Evaluation (T&E) of the Harvest HAWK weapons kit and Don LAIRCM as installed on the KC-130J. Additionally, some support to the C-130T Avionics Obsolescence Upgrade (AOU) and Block Upgrade on the KC-130J. Support will be required in one or more of the following forms: Documentation Review, Test Planning Support, Operational Test Design, Test Analysis, Reporting and Test Operations Support. The nature of Operational Test and this position is intended to ascertain the operational effectiveness and suitability of the aircraft systems, which includes but is not limited to: Assist in preparation and review of program documents, Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), Operational Test (OT) Framework, Integrated Test (IT) plans, Operational Test plans, and Final Reports in accordance with latest COMOPTEVFOR guidance.

Minimum Education: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a subject whereby systems engineering and data analysis are the focus.

·        5 years of professional engineering experience in the area of Test and Evaluation experience preferred in the areas of Developmental and Operational Testing.
  • Should have experience in technical writing and/or authoring deficiencies in the test environment to include data analysis.
  • Experience conducting data analysis using Microsoft Excel and generating reports is highly desired.
  • Navy or Marine Corps Fleet aviation experience required
  • Proven capability to operate independently yet meet demanding expectations.
  • Preference given to candidates with aviation test experience – preferably weapons experience with a fixed wing or rotary platform.
