SYSTEMS ANALYST (Aviation Operations Support Coordinator):
Coordinates and schedules contracted air services sorties and training ranges for in support of operational force training. 
Collects information to analyze and evaluate. Prepares reports, studies and documentation. Delivers presentations and participates in meetings. Works on special project areas. Knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, and independent verification and validation techniques. Work independently and as part of a team. Applies knowledge of analytical methodologies, concepts and techniques to develop and apply solutions to problems. Analyzes and formulates functional specifications, interfaces, and data requirements for assigned projects.
Experience scheduling and coordinating tactical aviation operations and exercise support with major Naval commands, ships and ground based units is highly desired.
Education: BS or BA degree in a "Relevant Technical Discipline" such as computer science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or engineering, from an accredited college or university. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An AS or AA degree and an additional four (4) years of experience; OR an additional eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
Experience: A minimum of four (4) years of experience in project support in the aircraft test and evaluation field with mid-sized client-server systems in systems analysis, software design, software development and database administration. Demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, and independent verification and validation techniques. Experience working independently and as part of a team in researching data, developing analytical techniques and methodologies. Demonstrated knowledge of system acquisition practices required to design, develop, integrate, test and manufacture a major system. Performs tasks with little or no guidance.
