Must be a U.S. Citizen
Required Education: Journeyman - BA/BS degree.
Allowable Substitution: Associate’s Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree. Four (4) years additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
Required Experience: Journeyman - 3 to 10 years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description. Candidate also must have a minimum one (1) year experience encompassing the following security disciplines:
- DD-254s
- Security Classification Guides (SCGs)
- Public Release process (SPRs)
- Reviewing Statements of Work (SOW)
- Data Item Descriptions (DiDs), Electronic spillages,
- Operational Security Plans (OPSEC),
- Program Protection Plans (PPP),
- Program Protection Implementation Plans (PPIPs).
- Candidate should possess the ability to review, and suggest recommendations to the requestors/submitters before routing for signature.
Although not immediate requirements, the candidate will be required to complete training for obtaining JPAS access and applying for a SIPRNet account within a few months of starting.
Desired Experience: 2 years of experience supporting NAVAIR.
Functional Description: Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management. Possess a strong working knowledge of the NISPOM and other required OPNAVINST and DoD instructions.
