Flight Clearance Management Analyst, Senior

Clearance Required: Active Secret clearance

Education: A Master’s Degree or allowable substitutions are required for this position. Allowable substitutions include a Bachelor’s Degree plus two years of additional work experience, or an Associate’s Degree plus four years of additional work experience or six years of additional work experience.

Experience: This position requires more than 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.

Functional Description: Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget, and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes, and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management.

 Responsibilities:
  • Generate, document, staff, and release USN Interim Flight Clearances and Flight Clearance Recommendations (FCR) for cooperative partner.
  • Able to use E-Power to generate and staff airworthiness documentation.
  • Develop chop sheets for flight clearance review and approval.
  • Process NATOP/NATIP changes and supports publication release cycles.
  • Apply analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.
